WP2 is dedicated to case study analysis.

Following the methodological tools developed and informed by the high level scoping of each of the cases (in WP1), empirical work will be carried out via case study analysis. It is envisaged that methods will be both quantitative and qualitative in nature and include combinations of semi- structured interviews stakeholder workshops, etc.

Assisted by the guidance and protocols developed in WP1, the 8 case studies in the 4 SOLARIS countries will be characterized by matching practices in data collection, analysis and archiving, as to help ensure a sufficient degree of comparability within the project.

Results of case studies analysis will be disseminated among practitioners and scientists via different media (case study fact sheets compilation in a handbook, oral presentations, scientific articles etc.).
